Description:
The Hollow Bottom is a privately owned free house in the heart of The Cotswolds. Extremely popular with both young and old alike, it's a rare mix in today's world - but we would say that wouldn't we? If our pub were famous for one thing, that would have to be our long tradition and connection to The Cheltenham Races. Our clientele would canter right up to the bar if we let them! When Hugh and Charlie took over, Earth Summit came to The Hollow Bottom to bless the pub then Bindaree stopped by to celebrate his Grand National triumph. We like to think they heard our nose bag was unbeatable and our stables were first class (fresh straw daily). We are proud of our countryside and racing heritage, fiercely fond of food and dedicated to our customers, both local and those trotting through

Description:
The Bull Hotel is situated along one side of Fairford's famous market square. Much of the building is dated around the 15th Century when it used to be a Monk's chanting house and during recent improvements a secret tunnel was discovered from the hotel to the 500-year-old St Mary's Church. Its close proximity to Swindon, Cirencester, Cheltenham and Gloucester, makes it ideal not only for holiday visitors and fishermen, but to businessmen who wish to get away from the standard system-built model-type of accommodation, allowing all our guests to relax in surroundings which have the charm and warmth of an ancient Cotswold Inn. The Hotel offers a choice of 22 bedrooms. Each room has its own particular character with sloping roofs and oak beams. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and are well equipped. Plenty of parking for guests.

Description:
Guests are assured of a very warm welcome at the Guiting Guest House which is a delightful and tastefully restored 16th Century Cotswold stone former farmhouse with all modernised facilities. Everywhere there are exposed beams, inglenook fireplaces, and polished solid pine floors from the Wychwood Forest. The open fires create a welcoming atmosphere as guests are greeted with a cup of tea and perhaps a slice of homemade cake.
Guiting is within very easy motoring distance of such places as Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wold, Winchcombe, Stratford upon Avon, Warwick and Oxford. Just North of the village is the Cotswold Farm Park, home to the Rare Breeds Survival Trust which exists to preserve historic breeds of farm animals that might otherwise become extinct. Just a few miles away, the home of the Dent-Brockelhurst family is steeped in history. Sudeley Castle apartments hold an impressive collection of paintings and antiques, while a permanent exhibition 'The Lace and times of Emma Dent' tells the story of the lady of the house in the Victorian Age. The award-winning gardens are delightful, spanning over 14 acres. This includes a vegetable plot with a selection of rare herbs and vegetables. A garden centre on site provides the opportunity to purchase a selection of plants from the estate.
We are proud of the fact that Guiting Guest House has earned a reputation for the quality of the Evening meals which we serve by candle light. All the meals are prepared and presented by ourselves with the emphasis on freshness of local produce and clarity of taste. Evening meals are by prior arrangement and we do ask for at least 24 hours notice. The dining room has exposed beams.
