Location & Facilities
We are a licensed hotel in a quiet location, only a few minutes from the bus/coach and railway station, yet is only 5 minutes walk from the beach and even less from the town centre and local amenities. We have a large tv/lounge, serving bottled beers, wines and spirits. The Fountaindale has its own car park to the side of the hotel with enough car parking for each room reserved.

Accommodation
We offer a variety of bedrooms, single, double, twin and family over both ground and first floors. We have two ground floor rooms which are ideal for visitors with limited mobility, one with a large wet room.

Description:

For over the last 20 years, The Hickman Hill Hotel has charmed guests with its unique character, hospitality and intimate surroundings in the lovely market town of Gainsborough. Formerly the Queen Elizabeth Grammar School dating back to the 1795 it became a hotel in 1982 with many of the original features giving the hotel a Grade 2 listing. The Hotel has over two acres of gardens and fish pond to relax by and unwind from the stressful day or journey.

There are spacious grounds around the hotel. In summer you can sit by the fish pond whilst enjoying a relaxing drink. There is an abundance of flowers especially in spring & early summer. You may even find some of the wild garlic in the chef's dishes.

Open to residents and non-residents the Hickman Hill Hotel restaurant is set in an ideal setting where you can enjoy a superb menu using the best in local produce. It is also the ideal place where you can celebrate a birthday, christening, an anniversary, wedding reception or any other special occasion.

We work to the highest standards of cuisine, ranging from light snacks at the bar through to table d'hote dinners and lunches, with traditional roast Sunday lunches to tempt the most discerning palate.

Come and relax in our cosy 4 star holiday cottage in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside. Barn Owl Cottage is situated in the quiet hamlet of North Cockerington only 3 miles from the market town of Louth - The Capital of the Wolds. It's ideal for anyone who just wants to get away from it all, for walkers and cyclists and anyone who loves nature and bird watching. Barn Owl Cottage is extremely well equipped and sleeps 2 in a very comfy double bed. There is a fully fitted kitchen with cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave etc., a modern living room with TV, Freeview, DVD player, a selection of books and local maps, board games etc etc.

After a long day exploring you'll be pleased to find a full size bath with a powerful shower above in the bathroom. You'll have your own pretty garden with table and chairs, a herb garden and parking area. There's a BBQ so you can enjoy the lovely locally produced food from the Farm Shops in the next village. Louth is a lovely Georgian town with many family run shops like a cheese shop, several butchers and greengrocers, a fishmonger, delicatessens and some great tearooms. There are lots of great restaurants and pubs in Louth - there really is something for everyone. The cottage is only a short drive from the coast and the motor racing ciruit of Cadwell Park.

Description:

Tawny Owl's bathroom is a wet room with facilities for the disabled. This room has french doors opening onto the patio.

Barn Owl has its own entrance from outside.

Our third room, Little Owl is a cosy double room with en-suite facilities. With views over the garden. The room is in an annex leading into the house.

Provided in the rooms are tea and coffee making facilities, chilled water, home made biscuits, hairdryers and radio alarms.

All rooms are heated by our oil fired central heating system.

Barn and Tawny Owl have LCD TV's, Little Owl has TV with CD player.

Wireless Broadband access is available in all rooms.

Breakfast is served in our new conservatory.

On the menu at breakfast we have cereals, fresh fruit, full english, haddock and poached egg, scrambled egg and salmon strips.

Description:

We are 5 minutes from Chapel St Leonards and 15 minutes from Alford. Helsey House is an old Victorian farmhouse built in 1880s.

Each cottage has been converted from original cattle stalls belonging to the dairy farm. They have been furnished to the highest standard whilst maintaining original features and character of the buildings. There is ample parking in the grounds. The owners live on site so are available for help and advice.

We can arrange for groceries to be available on arrival [please telephone to discuss your requirements].
We can arrange for delivery of a mobility scooter/wheelchair for your arrival by prior arrangement.

The Cow Shed offers one double and one twin bedded room and a family bathroom with shower over bath. The open plan living area overlooks the courtyard garden and the paddock to the rear.

The Dairy offers one double and one twin bedded room. The Dairy can accommodate 5 people with the addition of full sized bunk beds in the twin room. The family bathroom with bath and separate shower has wheelchair access. The open plan living area overlooks the courtyard garden.

Perfectly placed to explore the fun coast and the rural coast of Lincolnshire with Skegness, Ingoldmells and Fantasy Island within 20 minutes drive. If it is just sun, sea and sand you desire then Huttoft, Moggs Eye and Anderby Creek are peaceful havens. Skegness, Mablethorpe and Sutton-on-Sea are 3 out of only 83 European Blue Flag beaches UK wide. Wildlife thrives on the natural coastline and is a haven for birdwatchers, nature lovers and conservationists

Carholme Guest House is a stylish town house with five individually designed and decorated rooms. All rooms are en-suite or have a private shower room and the room sizes vary across the range.

We are an AA 4 Star rated Guest Accommodation and we also achieved a 4-star rating for hygiene in the Food Business Star Awards. So if you're looking for a clean and comfortable guest house with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, then we are the place for you.

We have a large, comfortable TV lounge for you to relax in, if you fancy a change of scenery from your room, or for meeting up with other guests.
We have five free parking permits available or two secure parking spaces, by prior arrangement only. Classic car and bike enthusiasts are welcome.

Children are welcome at Carholme Guest House and we can supply various games and toys to keep them busy. We can also provide a high-chair, travel cot, airbed and extra bedding, baby monitors, and we've also designed their very own special breakfast menu.

Breakfast is served in our comfortable dining room and runs from 7am until 8:30am from Monday to Friday and from 8am until 9am on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays.

We serve a choice of Full English Breakfast with locally made Lincolnshire sausages, free-range eggs and all the trimmings. For those who prefer something smaller, a selection of light bites and toasted products are available.
