THE GROVE END HOTEL is a small, welcoming family run establishment with 20 rooms that has been in business for the past years. Situated in lovely gardens and has its own free car park for guests. It has rooms to suit most peoples pockets and taste, from the basic single rooms to family rooms through to en-suite we try to make your stay a pleasant one. Also available is a full English cooked buffet breakfast at a price you can afford. In keeping with the rest of the hotel there is a small welcoming bar in which you can relax in the evenings. Bar food is available from 6.00 pm until 11..00 pm from our varied menu. The bar is open until 11.00 pm Monday to Thursdays only.

Any guest wishing to stay during weekends will be on a bed and breakfast basis only. The en-suite rooms all have satellite television, shower, toilet, wash hand basin, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone and radio alarm. Latchmead built in 1930's is set it two acres of mature grounds. All rooms have beautiful views of either the gardens or surrounding countryside.

Close to the town of Bishop's Stortford and the main train link to London Liverpool Street station we can provide a collection and drop off service if pre-arranged. Easy access to the M11 motorway junction 8 for guests travelling by car. We offer a free shuttle to service to Stanstead Airport from 04:15 to 09:00 by prior arrangement.

Our village pub is a short walk from Latchmead and offers excellent evening or lunch time meals which are reasonably priced. The menu is varied and vegitarian options are also available.

Latchmead has a large private car park and we can offer a vallet parking if required.

All guest rooms are no smoking. Rooms are comfortable and have modern bathrooms/en-suite with power showers. Fresh linen and towels, a selection of bathroom toiletries, tea/coffee facilities, hair dryers, alarm clocks, are standard in all rooms. Bathrobes can be provided upon request.

Travel cots and Z-beds for children under ten are available upon request as is the use of washing machine facilities, iron/ironing board.
