Hartfell House guest house is situated in a peaceful rural setting in a designated "Outstanding Conservation Area" on the edge of the town of Moffat. It overlooks the surrounding hills, yet is only a few minutes' walk from Moffat's attractive town centre. The building is of local stone, and is officially 'Listed' as being of architectural interest, dating from around 1850.

The guest house accommodation includes 7 spacious and tastefully furnished bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities. A full Scottish breakfast is cooked to order and a continental buffet is also provided. Home baked bread, croissants, freshly ground coffee and a selection of speciality teas are on offer to complement the cereals, fruits and fresh juices.

Guests can dine in the award wining Limetree Restaurant. Chef Matt Seddon uses the best seasonal ingredients and makes the most of local suppliers in order to produce a charismatic blend of modern and traditional cooking with Scottish and global influence.

Standing in gardens of lawns and trees, and providing an atmosphere of peaceful relaxation, Hartfell House guest house is perfect for a short break holiday. A warm welcome awaits all guests.
