Ty Gosa, Ty Pella and Ty Canol make up Coed Mawr Cottages. They were once the ballroom but have now been converted into self-catering cottages. We have extensive grounds and you'll wake up to an amazing view of the valley below and the mountains beyond.
Each cottage enjoys shared use of the delightful rear landscaped garden and its own secluded patio area. As guests you are also free to relax in the well-tended front lawns.
We are positioned centrally for the coast, countryside and the mountains.
An excellent area for walking, mountain biking and birdwatching. Lake, river and sea fishing are all available locally. Nearby golf course, Tree-top walking, dry ski slope and horse riding.

The Tan Lan Hotel is an ideal base from which to explore Llandudno and the spectacular scenery of the Snowdonia Mountain Range and the North Wales coast featuring the historic castles of Conwy, Caernarfon and Beaumaris. We are located in a tranquil part of Llandudno and it was on the lovely West Shore that Lewis Carroll was inspired to write "Alice in Wonderland". Tan Lan is easy to find and has ample parking space. The beach and promenade are within a 200m level walk away. Just a 15 minute walk away is the hustle and bustle of the main town on the North Shore with its pier, theatre and other attractions. Full waiter service is provided in the restruant. Breakfast is included in the price of the room and the menu choices include, fruit & fruit juices, cereals, porridge, kippers and full English breakfast. The 5 course dinner menu costs £15 to residents and changes daily, offering the choice of a traditional roast each day to a variety of other dishes. Special dietry requirements can be catered for and dinner is available with prior notification. A sample menu can be requested (phone 01492860221). Picnic Lunches can also be provided for those planning to be out and about. The hotel has 17 bedrooms, of which 6 are on the ground-floor consisting of a mixture of twin, double & super-king size beds. For the less nimble, some rooms are available with walk-in showers and grabrails (There is a step into these showers). Please note: Due to narrow corridors, restricted door widths and space in bedrooms, persons totally dependent upon wheelchairs will experience difficulty in accessing some rooms. All rooms have Tea and Coffee, remote control 14 inch teletext TV's and radio clock alarms. Full porterage service for luggage. Level approach to hotel entrance. One 7 inch step at main entrance into hotel and then level floor access to all public areas and ground-floor rooms. Electric buggies and wheelchairs can be stored and recharged in the hotel garage.
