Description:
Cwmcrwth Farm offers the best of both worlds; a peaceful setting in beautiful countryside on a secluded farm with plenty of fresh air and open spaces but still less than 2 miles from the A40 with easy access to the M4 and other major road links. The stone outbuildings of this traditional Welsh smallholding have been sympathetically converted into a pictureque courtyard whilst retaining the farm's original character and tranquility. Approached along a half mile private drive passing though the farm's own pastureland the cottages really are nestled in the centre providing an "away from it all" atmosphere. The three 4* self catering holiday cottages have their own unique character. Each with exposed beams, thick stone walls and slate roofs. Renovated to a high standard all are well equipped and attractively furnished. High quality bed linen and fluffy white towels together with heating and electricity is also included. The cottages are ideally located within easy reach of the beaches of West Wales (Pendine, Pembrey, Tenby, Newquay and more). The area offers a wealth of tourist attractions within a few miles including the National Botanic Gardens and Aberglasney, castles, mountains and country parks. Horse riding, caving, mountain biking, fishing and walking are just a few of the local activities. 7 golf courses (both parkland and links) test golfers of all levels. For shopping Llandeilo with its trendy boutiques is 4 miles and Carmarthen 10, with an indoor food market and the usual high street stores. For sampling Welsh food we have excellent local restaurants and offer pork products from our own. Cwmcrwth Farm is an ideal base for a family holiday with a variety activities for all ages, equally it can offer a quiet relaxing environment in which to unwind and get away from the stresses of city life or book all 3 cottages for a special birthday celebration with family and friends. Whatever the time of year Cwmcrwth Farm provides an escape pad to chill out.
