You will receive a very warm and friendly welcome from Heather and Keith. We are in our third year at the Carlee but we are experienced hoteliers, having previously run hotels in Newquay and Weymouth. The quality of the Carlee is recognised with our Quality Plus award.

We have a guaranteed car park space for every bedroom, with secure parking at the rear of the hotel. We have 11 bedrooms:

• 4 family rooms
• 6 double rooms (including two on the ground floor)
• 1 single room

All have central heating, double-glazing, colour TV and complimentary tea/coffee. Our bedrooms are all a good size, with well-appointed en suites.

The Carlee is located just south of the town centre on Park Road, which is on the way into Blackpool from the M55. Blackpool Tower, Central Promenade, Winter Gardens, Grand Theatre and the shops, markets, and restaurants are only a 10-15 minute walk.

If you are visiting Blackpool for the illuminations it is only a short walk to catch a tram to wonder at the magic of the Golden Mile and the 5 miles of the lights.

A charming country inn and restaurant situated on the A683 between the market towns of Kirkby Lonsdale and Sedbergh. On the borders of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and only 25 minutes from the Lake District and Morecambe Bay.

The Head is everything you would expect an English country pub to be. Fine food, open fires and a rustic bar with a fine selection of real ales and malts. The Head also has extensive gardens with seating areas. Comfortable, spacious accommodation in our ensuite rooms.

The Silverdale really is a friendly place to stay - we were the AA pet friendly establishment of the year in 2005. But we are not just friendly if you have a dog!

Whilst we do not do evening meals, we are very happy for you to get a takeaway and we will supply you with crockery and cutlery so you can enjoy a proper meal in your room. All we ask is that you buy the drinks from us or your well stocked mini bar in your room.

All our rooms are en-suite and offer the following:

We have seven rooms in total: five doubles and two family rooms, one being a triple and one being a quadruple. However, although we do not have any small single rooms we are very happy for singles to stay in our doubles.
