AA-4 star rated and completely renovated in 2008/9, all our rooms enjoy en suite facilities, except for rm9 which has its own private facilities just a step across the corridor.  All rooms feature flat screen multichannel TVs, tea/coffee making facilities, free high speed WiFi internet, radio alarms & hairdryers.

We are centrally located on the seafront close to the pier, easy walking distance to the town centre, theatres and other attractions. Most bedrooms overlook the beach and we are ideally suited to those seeking rest and relaxation. Our substantial continental breakfasts are delicious. Real ground coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, a selection of organic yoghurts, cereals, seeded breads and just-baked croissants, homemade fruit salad ... we believe you'll be impressed.

The Royal happily caters for special diets: our kitchen is vegetarian and we always use fresh, organic products where possible.  Simply inform us of your requirements - vegan, coeliac, low GI, etc., and we'll be glad to help.

Please note that accommodation is arranged over 3 floors and there is no lift available. Children of 12 years old and over are welcome however we cannot accommodate young children.
